Tenebrous Edge

The steal tables have been updated to give players a chance at obtaining more high end and better loot. Players now have the chance to obtain a treasure map item, a collection item, and more!

In order to obtain the new spy weapon, the Tenebrous Edge, you must activate and use your steal ability. Every time you steal something, there will be a chance of advancing the collection.

It is important to note that the weapon will come in complete form, but can be deconstructed and re-crafted by a weapon smith in order to get the best possible stats for the item.

The stats you obtain after deconstruction totally depend on the weapon smith you are using, so make sure to find a good one!

New Expertise Options

With the release of Game Update 7, Spies now have totally revamped expertise pages.

Along with a revamped Spy page, there is also a new Covert Operatives page.

You'll notice on the new pages that there are also new expertise options. Here are some of the new choices that Spies will have:

Shifty Setup is a new expertise that grants the Shifty Setup ability which is a one-shot bonus to the Spy's next attack from stealth. The bonuses included in this are 20% to target's dodge, parry, block, and glancing blows. There is also a -20% chance for the spy to critical hit and strike-through the target.

The Assassin's Mark expertise grants the ability of the same name. This ability causes the target to sometimes provoke additional attacks when subject to successful hits.

Jagged Edge is a three point tier five expertise off of opportunity. Each point of Jagged Edge increases critical strike damage by 10%.

Savagery is a tier five expertise extending from Jagged Edge . On a successful critical strike attack, the spy will buff their group with Savagery which increases critical strike damage by 5%. This effect can be stacked three times.

Assassin's Blade is a four point expertise that increases chance to land a strikethrough in combat by 1% per point.

The Vibrogenerator expertise is a 3 points tier five expertise off of Assassin's Blade . Each point of Assassin's Blade adds 2% armor neglect to every attack.

Resonance is a tier five expertise extending from Vibrogenerator . On a successful strikethrough attack, the spy will buff their group with Resonance which increases armor neglect by 2%. This effect can also be stacked three times.

Beastmaster Spies should also note that there have been updates to your abilities as well. Beasts will now go stealth if their master is stealth and will now also be able to get the covert mastery buff, if the master has the buff of the same name.
